Meet your tutor, Giovanni

Ciao, my name is Giovanni. I’m 36 years old and I come from Teramo, a beautiful city in the heart of Abruzzo, in central Italy.

I took my first steps in the world of private tutoring in Italy, learning from an experienced English and Italian teacher with over 30 years of experience.

In 2014, I moved to London with the aim of improving my English language skills for a few months. What was supposed to be a short experience turned into more than twelve years of living and working in the UK, where I gained valuable experience tutoring Italian to English-speaking students and English to Italian-speaking learners.

I have been tutoring students both in person and online for many years (one-to-one and group lessons). My teaching style is simple but effective: I expect my students to study and work diligently, but learning should be enjoyable too.

My approach is modern: I use grammar books and e-books, as well as useful apps and websites. I tailor each lesson to suit the needs, personality, and language level of every student.
